Neverland Ranch: A Remembrance to Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has been known as the "King of Pop" for many years. He is an icon and inspiration to everyone that knew him and knew of him. It is sad and hurtful that he has left us at such a young age and before he even got to start his tour.

Michael had gone through many trials and tribulations in his life time that ultimately made him into the man that the world KNOWS and loves. Just like any other celebrity he was a real person with many struggles. He was a kid at heart and it showed through his home that he opened up to many children, not for a perverted pleasure, but for other children to have a chance to enjoy their childhood.

While the fate of his wonderful children are slowly being taken care of as they should, the fate of his loving home that he created is rumored to be sold. All of the rides that he had built, the animals that he housed, everything will be taken away from the house so that it can be sold to some other millionaire that does not need it. I feel that the Neverland Ranch should be kept and preserved the way it is and should be condoned as a remembrance of Michael Jackson.

Elvis Presley's house still stands in Memphis for tourists to visit along with his personal plane and a museum in his remembrance. I believe that if Elvis' legacy can survive then so can Michael Jackson's legacy. Take from this what you will but there is no one that has had such an impact on the world like Michael Jackson did. He did not sway the love of just one race or ethnic background. He brought all ethnic background together, and while not everyone in the world loved him, he did touch every one's life. He taught many artists today and many artist that are soon to come that no matter what happens in your life, you can over come and fulfill your dreams.

So why take away what he worked so hard to build?
